Game development
We design and build casual games, gamified campaigns and interactive 3D experiences for the web and mobile, combining game design, art direction and solid engineering from first concept to release.
Overview
A well-made game or interactive experience holds attention in a way few other formats can. Brands use them to launch products, organisations use them to teach, and studios use them to tell stories rooted in a particular place.
We work through the core idea with you first: who the players are, what they do, why they come back and what the experience needs to achieve. That shapes a playable prototype early, so the fun can be tested before art and content are produced at scale.
From there we build for the platforms that matter to your audience, whether that is an instantly playable browser game shared by link or a mobile title. Publishing, ownership and any revenue arrangements are agreed clearly in the contract.
What we make
Game design, art direction and engineering under one roof, scaled to a campaign mini-game or a full title.
Core loop, mechanics, progression and rules worked out on paper and in prototypes, with a clear game design document to guide production.
Lightweight games that run in the browser and can be shared with a link, suited to campaigns, events and social sharing.
Games designed for touch and small screens, planned with the requirements of app store publishing in mind.
Quizzes, challenges and reward mechanics that make marketing campaigns, onboarding or training more engaging.
Explorable 3D scenes, product viewers and visualisations that run in the browser, with assets prepared for the web.
A visual style for characters, environments and interface, produced in-house or coordinated with illustrators and artists you choose.
Methodology
A playable prototype comes early, so the fun is proven before art and content are produced at scale.
Audience, goals, core loop and the feeling the game should create, captured in a short concept document.
A rough but playable version of the core mechanic, tested early to prove it is fun before full production.
Art, levels, audio and features are produced in cycles, with a playable build at the end of each one.
Playtesting with real players, balancing, bug fixing and performance work on target devices.
Web launch or store submission, launch support and any post-release updates you have agreed.
Suitable for
Ideas for where games and interactive media can work for your audience.
Short, replayable games that promote a product, launch or event and are easy to share.
Learning experiences for schools, staff onboarding or public awareness campaigns.
Original casual games for phones, from puzzle to arcade-style play.
Touch-screen experiences for events, exhibitions and visitor centres.
Explorable models of products, rooms or properties that visitors can rotate and inspect.
Narrative games and interactive stories inspired by local culture and settings.
Deliverables
Typical outputs of an engagement. The exact deliverables for your project are listed in the proposal, so everyone knows what “done” means.
Our products
Alongside games and interactive work, the same team designs and supports our own SaaS products for businesses in the Maldives.
A simple, mobile-first way for home-based businesses such as caterers and bakers to manage orders, customers, purchases and revenue.
Point of sale and business management for small and medium businesses: sales, purchases, inventory, customers and reporting in one place.
Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.
Often, yes. Many games can share most of their code across browser and mobile builds. The right approach depends on the type of game, the controls and how players will find it, which we decide together at the concept stage.
We can prepare builds, store listings and submission materials, and support you through the review process. Apps are normally published under your own developer accounts, and store approval is decided by the store operators, not by us.
Ownership of code, artwork, characters and other assets is agreed explicitly in the contract for each project. If third-party assets, fonts or music are used, their licences are identified and confirmed with you.
We set target devices with you at the start and test on representative hardware throughout production. Visual detail is adjusted to suit those targets, but we do not promise a specific frame rate on every possible device.
Cost varies widely with scope, art style, number of levels and platforms. A short campaign game and a full mobile title are very different projects. We provide a proposal after an initial concept conversation.
Project inquiry
Tell us what you have in mind. We will review it, ask the right questions and suggest practical next steps: a scoping session, a proposal or an honest recommendation.
