Website design & development
We design and build corporate websites, portals and campaign pages with performance, accessibility and search visibility treated as requirements from the first sketch, not as an afterthought.
Overview
Customers, partners and job applicants usually meet your organisation online before they meet your team. A slow, confusing or outdated website makes that first impression harder than it needs to be.
We plan the structure around what your visitors are trying to do, write or refine the content with you, and design a visual system that reflects your brand. The site is then built to load quickly on mobile networks, work with a keyboard and screen reader, and give search engines clear, structured information.
Once it is live, your team should be able to update pages, news and listings without calling a developer. Where a content management system is part of the scope, we set it up around the content you actually publish.
What we deliver
Design, build and the technical foundations that help your site stay quick, usable and findable.
Site maps, page structures and user journeys designed around what visitors need to find, so navigation feels obvious rather than clever.
A design system that expresses your brand consistently across every page, from typography and colour to components and imagery guidance.
Lean pages, optimised images and careful use of scripts, so the site stays quick on mobile connections as well as office broadband.
Semantic structure, sufficient colour contrast, visible focus states and keyboard support, reviewed during design and build.
Clean URLs, page titles and descriptions, sitemaps and structured data that help search engines understand your content.
Where it fits the scope, an editing experience set up around your content types so your team can publish confidently.
Methodology
Structure and content come first, so design and build effort goes into a site that answers what visitors are looking for.
Goals, audiences, content inventory and the structure of the site, agreed before any visual design starts.
Wireframes, then visual designs for key page templates on mobile and desktop, reviewed with your team.
Templates and components are built, content is loaded and pages are checked across devices and browsers.
Accessibility, performance and SEO checks, content proofing and a final review round before launch.
Go-live, redirects from old URLs, editor training and the ongoing care arrangement you choose.
Suitable for
A few of the website projects we take on, from a focused landing page to a content-rich portal.
A clear, credible online home for your organisation, its services and its people.
Refreshing an outdated site while carrying across content and search history with proper redirects.
Focused landing pages for a launch, an event or a marketing campaign.
Content-heavy sites with resources, downloads, notices or directories that need good structure and search.
Visual, mobile-friendly sites for resorts, guesthouses and operators that link to your booking channels.
Sites planned for more than one language, with the structure and editing workflow to match.
Deliverables
Typical outputs of an engagement. The exact deliverables for your project are listed in the proposal, so everyone knows what “done” means.
Our products
The same team designs, builds and supports our own SaaS products. If one already fits your needs, it may be a faster route than a custom build.
A simple, mobile-first way for home-based businesses such as caterers and bakers to manage orders, customers, purchases and revenue.
Point of sale and business management for small and medium businesses: sales, purchases, inventory, customers and reporting in one place.
Questions
Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.
No one can honestly guarantee search rankings. What we do is build strong technical foundations: fast pages, clean structure, metadata, sitemaps and structured data. Rankings also depend on your content, competition and other sites linking to you, which we can advise on.
Yes, if a content management system is part of the scope. We set it up around the content you publish most, such as pages, news or listings, and train your editors. Some highly custom sections may still need a developer, and we will point those out during planning.
We help structure and refine content and can write or edit copy where it is included in the proposal. Your team still needs to supply the facts about your organisation and approve everything before it is published.
When replacing a site, we review existing pages and set up redirects from old addresses to their new equivalents, so visitors and search engines are not sent to dead links.
Both depend on the size of the site, how ready the content is and your preferences. Timelines are set out in the proposal after planning, and hosting can be arranged through a provider you already use or one we recommend, as agreed in the contract.
Project inquiry
Tell us what you have in mind. We will review it, ask the right questions and suggest practical next steps: a scoping session, a proposal or an honest recommendation.
