API & systems integration

Connect your systems so data flows without re-keying.

We design APIs, data synchronisation and middleware that link the applications, partners and devices you already rely on, so information is entered once and is available wherever it is needed.

Overview

Most organisations run on several systems that do not talk to each other

Sales are recorded in one system, stock in another, staff in a third and accounts in a fourth. People bridge the gaps by exporting spreadsheets and typing the same information again, which is slow and introduces mistakes.

We map how data needs to move between your systems, agree which system is the source of truth for each piece of information, and build connections that move it reliably. Where a system offers an API, we use it; where it does not, we look at file exchange or other supported options.

Integrations are built to be observable and maintainable, with logging, retries and clear error handling, so your team can see what has synchronised and what needs attention.

Integration capabilities

The pieces that keep information moving between your systems

APIs, synchronisation and monitoring, designed together so integrations are reliable and easy to support.

  • API design and development

Well-structured, documented APIs that let your own applications, partners or customers work with your data securely.

    • REST API design
    • Authentication and access control
    • Developer documentation
  • Data synchronisation

Keep records such as products, customers, stock or staff consistent across systems, with clear rules for conflicts.

    • Scheduled and event-driven sync
    • Conflict handling rules
    • Reconciliation reports
  • Webhooks and event flows

React to events as they happen, such as a new order or a paid invoice, and trigger the right actions in other systems.

    • Incoming and outgoing webhooks
    • Queues and retries
    • Event logging
  • Third-party connectors

Connections to accounting, e-commerce, messaging or other software you use, based on the APIs and access each provider supports.

    • Provider API integrations
    • Credential management
    • Rate-limit handling
  • File-based and legacy exchange

For systems without modern APIs, structured imports and exports with validation, so older software can still take part.

    • CSV and spreadsheet imports
    • Scheduled file exchange
    • Validation and error reports
  • Monitoring and maintenance

Logs, alerts and dashboards that show what has synchronised and what has failed, with documentation your team can use.

    • Integration logs
    • Failure alerts
    • Runbooks and documentation

Methodology

How we connect your systems

We map data and responsibilities before building anything, then test failure cases as carefully as the happy path.

  1. Step 01

Step 1: Audit systems and data

Inventory of systems, the data each holds, how it can be accessed and where manual re-keying happens today.

  2. Step 02

Step 2: Design the data flows

Sources of truth, field mappings, triggers and error handling agreed before any connection is built.

  3. Step 03

    Step 3: Build connectors

APIs, connectors and jobs are developed against test environments or sample data wherever possible.

  4. Step 04

Step 4: Test end to end

Realistic scenarios, including failures and duplicates, are tested with your team before going live.

  5. Step 05

Step 5: Go live and monitor

Phased switch-over, monitoring of early runs and documentation for ongoing operation.

Deliverables

What you receive

Typical outputs of an engagement. The exact deliverables for your project are listed in the proposal, so everyone knows what “done” means.

  • Integration map showing systems, data flows and sources of truth
  • Interface specifications for each connection
  • Built and tested APIs, connectors or synchronisation jobs
  • Error handling, retries and logging
  • API documentation for internal or partner developers
  • Test plan and test results using agreed sample data
  • Monitoring set-up and operational runbook
  • Support arrangement for changes in connected systems, as agreed

Suitable for

Typical integration projects

Common situations where connecting systems removes re-keying and errors.

  • Online store to back office

Orders, stock and customers flowing between your e-commerce site and your point of sale or inventory.

  • HR and payroll data flows

Staff, attendance and payroll data moving between HR, time-keeping and accounting systems.

  • Partner and customer APIs

Giving partners or customers controlled access to your data or services through a documented API.

  • Reporting data consolidation

Bringing data from several systems together for reporting without manual exports.

  • Device and hardware data

Collecting data from devices such as scanners or attendance terminals, where they provide a supported interface.

  • Connecting our products

Linking HealthPack, WorkHarmony, FaseyhaPOS, Viyafaa or VerifyTransfers with the other systems you use.

Questions

Questions about integrations

Straight answers to the questions we hear most often.

Ask us directly and we’ll give you a straight answer.

Contact us
Can you connect to any system we use?

Only where the system provides a way in, such as an API, a supported file export or a documented database interface, and where its licence terms allow it. During the audit we confirm what each system supports and tell you plainly if a connection is not feasible.

Do you integrate with government or bank systems?

Connections to government, regulator or bank systems depend entirely on what those organisations make available and on their own approval processes. We do not claim existing integrations with them. If you need one, we will look at the officially supported options with you during scoping.

What happens when a connected system changes or goes down?

We build integrations with retries, logging and alerts so failures are visible and recoverable rather than silent. Ongoing monitoring and updates when a third-party system changes are covered by the support arrangement agreed in your contract.

How do you keep integrated data secure?

We apply access control, encrypted connections where the connected systems support them, and careful handling of credentials. The specific security measures and responsibilities for each project are documented in the proposal.

Can you integrate your products with our existing software?

Yes, this is a common request. Integration options for each product depend on the product and on your other systems, so we confirm what is possible during a scoping conversation.

Project inquiry

Need your systems to work together?

Tell us what you have in mind. We will review it, ask the right questions and suggest practical next steps: a scoping session, a proposal or an honest recommendation.
